Purpose

We hear both Senator David Perdue and Senator Kelly Loeffler repeatedly describe the democratic agenda as something very bad and harmful. In the recent debate, Senator Loeffler remarked: "There are two visions for our country. Mine: the American dream. My opponent: socialism." I let a few of these claims marinate. Was it all true? Was it all false? I finally wondered is Senator Loeffler making a false promise?

In this thesis, I show how I've come to my current thoughts on the subject. I have thought more than I have put down. Electing Republican senators in Georgia would not protect the American dream.

Electing Republican senators in Georgia would not protect the American dream.

Conclusion

Unemployment would decrease much slower and would remain higher if Republicans were elected in Georgia.

Conclusion

Premise

Both Republicans elected will both block the 'Democratic agenda' including the Biden jobs plan.

Premise

The Biden jobs plan is predicted to deliver 7.4 million jobs more and reach full and higher employment a year earlier than the Republican plan would accomplish less.

The American dream cannot exist without at least full employment.

Conclusion

Premise

The American dream is defined as: "a happy way of living that is thought of by many Americans as something that can be achieved by anyone in the U.S. especially by working hard and becoming successful."

Premise

If one or more Americans cannot find work because there are still not enough jobs, then no matter how hard one works success cannot be achieved.
